Welcome to the website of the Retired Police Officers’ Association of Western Australia.
The association is a charitable community service-based institution served by volunteers. It seeks to foster the spirit of comradeship and good fellowship amongst members through social interaction by providing regular engagement and a variety of social functions. Importantly, the Association provides confidential support and assistance for the welfare of sick members as well as consolation and assistance to the bereaved.
This website aims to provide members with useful information, keep members advised of upcoming events, vale notices, send offs, dinners and functions and maintain the comradeship and friendships formed during police service. Depending on privacy considerations it may be possible to help members keep in touch with or contact former comrades.

membership application and maintenance
We encourage eligible people to join the Association. There is no application fee and only a very small annual membership subscription to cover the administrative costs.
Any Person who has been a sworn member of the Police Force of Western Australia or other recognised Police agency and has retired, or been discharged medically unfit, or resigned after 5 years or more of service, and is of good character and repute can be considered for membership as an Ordinary Member.
Associate membership can be considered for widow and widowers, or spouses and partners of those eligible to be an Ordinary or Life Member.
